Lifetime Jewelry Care
Dean’s Jewelry has decades of experience caring for the appearance, craftsmanship and high quality of our jewelry, and we are dedicated to keeping your jewelry in top condition. For the lifetime of your purchase, we provide the following professional cleaning and general repairs on all our fine jewelry:
- One-time free ring resizing, up or down 2 sizes from stock ring size
- Professional cleaning and polishing
- Ultrasonic and steam cleaning for hard gemstones
- Gentle cleaning by hand for soft or porous gemstones
- Metal oxidation removed
- Worn rhodium plating reapplied
Warranty
Your fine jewelry is always protected against manufacturer’s defects for up to 12 months from the date of purchase. In some cases, a piece must be sent to its designer for repair. The designer’s charges are not covered by our Lifetime Jewelry Care, but you will have the chance to review and approve all repair and shipping costs before work begins. Repairs are subject to the designer’s schedule.

Shipping
Choose the option to suit your schedule and budget:
- USPS: $15
- FedEx 2-Day: $25
We process your order as quickly as possible, with standard orders going out the next business day (Monday through Friday, excluding holidays), pending credit card authorization and verification. Orders placed on Saturday or Sunday are shipped the next business day. Items listed that don't show as "In Stock" will need to be ordered and require additional shipping time. We do not offer shipping to P.O. addresses. Shipments to Alaska and Hawaii are shipped UPS 2-Day. For orders over $500, we require your signature on delivery, so please plan accordingly.
A few important notes about overnight delivery:
- Orders requesting overnight delivery must be submitted by 3pm ET, Monday through Friday
- Overnight delivery orders placed Thursday after 3pm ET through Friday 3pm ET will arrive on Monday.
Trade-in
Dean’s is happy to offer you a 1 to 1 trade-in on your diamond engagement jewelry. We will give you 100% of the purchase price towards an item that is double the value.
Refunds
Refunds are accepted within 30 days of purchase. All refunds must be “in new condition” and accompanied by your original receipt or a copy of it. Refunds are subject to restocking fees if alterations have been performed and/or if the item needs polishing. If a ring has been sized from it's stock size, that charge is non-refundable.
Online Purchases
We are pleased to offer free returns for online orders. Online orders must be shipped to 409 Main Street, Coshocton Ohio 43812, Attn: Support. When we receive your return, our Support Department will review it. Once your merchandise has been accepted for return, we will process your refund or exchange as quickly as possible – usually, within a few business days.
To be eligible for return, your purchase:
- Should not show signs of wear or damage
- May not be engraved, altered, or resized
- Must be accompanied by a Return Authorization (RA) number
We reserve the right to refuse any merchandise that is returned after 30 days or that doesn’t meet the above requirements. For deansjewelry.com orders, refunds will be made to the same payment method used for the original purchase.
Returns typically take no more than five days to process. Your refund should appear on your credit card statement within one to two billing periods, depending on the date of return.
Important note: Our shipping procedures and instructions, explained below, must be followed carefully to ensure the safe shipment and appropriate processing of your return. We are happy to clarify any of these steps – just call us at 740-622-4941 or email info@deansjewelry.com.
Pre-authorizing your return
Please call 740-622-4941 or email info@deansjewelry.com to request a Return Authorization (RA) number. This number will be emailed to you for merchandise that initially meets our return criteria.
Packaging your return
It is important to package your return carefully. Return merchandise must be received with the sales receipt and all original packaging and enclosures.
Shipping your return
We will send you a shipping label via email for the items being returned. Simply call USPS for pickup, or drop off your package at a USPS location.
You’re welcome to make your return in person. Merchandise purchased from deansjewelry.com may be returned to our store at 409 Main Street Coshocton, OH 43812
Sales Tax
In accordance with state law, an 7.25% sales tax will be applied to purchases by OH residents.

Layaway
We offer a flexible layaway plan for any item you desire. We do require an initial 20% deposit of the total purchase. The payments thereafter may be made at your convenience in accordance to the terms. Alterations & adjustments, such as ring sizing, will be made at balance payoff. Expired layaways will receive an in store credit for monies received.
Financing
Dean’s Jewelry offers financing through Synchrony and Iddeal. 6 and 12 months “Same as Cash” and other payment plans are available to fit your needs.
Returns & Exchanges
Most returns & exchanges are accepted within 30 days of purchase. Certain special orders and altered items may be non-returnable.
Diamond Inspection
We recommend bringing us your diamond jewelry for inspection every 6 months. We will inspect the prongs to help prevent any possible damage or loss of your gemstones. This inspection service is free.
Appraisal
We are happy to provide you with a free insurance replacement document on every purchase.
Custom Work
All custom jewelry is nonrefundable and requires a $200 design fee that will be applied to your purchase. We require a 50% deposit before the work begins. Full payment upon receipt of custom work will denote the client’s complete satisfaction.
